Venus Jones is an internationally known spoken word poet, producer, and educator with over twenty years of classroom and stage experience. She once taught kindergarten and a college on the same day. Through her work in academia, entertainment, and media, she promotes empowerment, inner peace and social progress. She's the author of SHE ROSE, a TEDx fellow, a poet laureate of the Jazz Line Institute, was named “Keeper of the Gate” at the Harlem Book Fair and earned “Most Inspiring Solo Performance at the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival.
