Private: Mentoring a motherless child

Took a few days off the grid to regroup but I am back in Cali prepping for the final semester. My flight was unforgettable with plenty of leg room. My wanna be furious face is when they took my lotion and my conditioner at security. I made a mistake and put it in the wrong bag and became the suspect bomber. Heaven knows I’m grace under pressure. I also met a new fan in Phoenix, who’s favorite movie is Love Jones, and she wants me to write her life story so I can make a million bucks. Trust me, she told me half of it, and it is unbelievable. She kept hugging me but it felt like she was putting me in a full nelson. “I want to hear another poem!” she said. “Please I’ll pay you for your time.” She was drunk and considerate.

Our meeting is another example of a God wink or possibly divine intervention at work because before boarding the plane a server at the Mexican restaurant sat her next to me during the lay over. As we were walking to our seats we were surprised to find hers was right next to mine on the plane, too. I recited “I need a man” and “Perfect Time” because she was a single mother returning to her seven month old after healing from a mental breakdown. This is just another event in less than a week that has restored my faith in God and in my divine purpose. I’m thinking of what I can offer motherless children everywhere. Let’s lift them up and send loving vibrations. May we all rise to our fullest potential.
